ECRR at International Book Fair

The Dallas Public Library hosted the Sixth Annual International Book Fair today. The Book Fair features authors, lectures, storytelling and activities for the whole family http://dallasinternationalbookfair.com/.

Every Child Ready to Read had the pleasure of conducting a workshop for parents and their young children. In conjunction with the season, guests particpated in singing the Five Little Pumpkins with hand motions and created their own five little pumpkin scene.

The book, the song and the activity offer parents fun ways to practice numbers, colors, motions and rhymes with their children. Happy Halloween!
